Front and rear suspention removed. Power washed the wheel wells and undercarriage. Wire brushed and sanded the suspension components and treated them to some primer and paint. The car tips back on the jack stands if I lift up at all on the front :) August 16, 2003
Just a shot of the car so far and a shot of the repaired and painted floor pan. August 13, 2003

Got the climate control out and the interior is gone. Painted the entire firewall area. Applied naval jelly to floor pan rust and cut the bad spots out. Brazed in some sheet metal. August 9, 2003
Ugh…the climate control system looks complicated. Ah well. Interior almost completely gutted. August 5, 2003
With the front end work finished, it is time to sand the red off and lay some white base coat down (want the car to be white on the inside and outside when finished…don’t want RED showing when you open the frunk). Shifter assembly rebuilt with internal boot. Rear suspension removed. Dash cleaned up. Suspension parts arriving. August 4, 2003
Braze up the front corner and totally gut the interior. Looks like there’s some floor pan rust to be dealt with. July 28, 2003
Scrape out the asphalt matting and hammer the body back out. July 13, 2003
Finishing stripping the exterior and getting into the front end body work. June 03
